From the Board of Education side, the tax rate and the impact of the school system on it, and restoring public confidence in the school system.
Completing the safety and security upgrades in the schools, and implementing accountability and fiscal responsibility on the school board.
3. How is your approach to town government different from your opponent(s)?**

In general, most Democrats have never met a tax they didn’t like. We need to look at the school system budget and try to identify waste and mismanagement if it is there, root it out, and increase efficiency. We owe it to the taxpayers of this town, as well as the students who attend school to ensure that every possible dollar goes into providing the best education we can for our child

Tax Relief — The incumbents (both the Democrats and the rejected RINOs running under the “Bottom Line” banner) have jacked up taxes and jacked up taxes and jacked up taxes some more. We are broke and businesses are leaving the town and the state in droves. It time to rein in spending. I will oppose any tax increase at all and I will work very hard to CUT TAXES. With so many issues looming like a potential state takeover of our school system I can’t promise outright tax cut in the short term but I will try very hard to get one the first year. Certainly in the long term I can promise tax relief if we get a Republican majority.

3. How is your approach to town government different from your opponent(s)? I believe that the Democrat ticket for BOE is weak because their three newcomers lack experience in school systems and fiscal administration. The last thing Enfield needs is to suffer because the BOE lacks the experience in fiscal matters to manage the money better.

4. Why do you want to be elected to town government? I want to work to reduce taxes thru better management of town government.
